can a Chartered accountant have salary income & business income with no Certificate of practice.

for doing busines other than practice, uyou need to take permission from institute. If you have taken permission, then you can show both incomes
If you have taken COP, then you cannot show salary income.
If you have taken COP, then you cannot show salary income.

As you said you r not holding c.o.p and you want to pursue job and business both, u can do as many activities as u want to., no restrictions.

All problem arises as soon as you take the COP. No COP no problem. It also oiccurs when you register yourself as a member of ICAI. You can do anything when you have COP and the membership but you can not write only the degree if your are the member but you cannot write chartered account on your card.
