29 April 2014 Dear Sir,

I have provided my gross salary breakup into below categories.
Basic,Hra,Uniform allowance( 100p.m.),Transport allowance& medical Allowance & shown the same in salary slip.

Question
---------
I am paying .....amt( few thousand)pa for school fess for my child.Can i get deduction under 80c even though i have not shown the same in my salary slip's breakup?

pls. advise.

29 April 2014 yes you can claim tution fee paid in your ITR even though if it has not been shown on your Form 16.
