date of retirement - 31.3.2010

basic pay- 14000 p.m.
D.A - 1400p.m.(not for retirement purpose)
HRA -2500p.m.
(he resides at his own home)
travelling allowance - 40000 for tour purposes
medical allowance - 80000

REtirement benefilts -

Gratuity - 140000

provident fund- 150000 (urpf fund , both CO. & him invested equally )

leave salary-260000 being salary for 20 months earned leave to his credit at the time of retirement
leave accured at 40days per yr of actual service.

pension- 4000 p.m. , three- fourth of which was commuted for 120000

Average salary for the preceeding 10 months to his retirement is - 13000
