For F.Y 2011-2012 purpose when did appointment(Form 23B) given to Statutory auditor please give clarity and wht is the AGM Date

22 November 2012 i) Due date of the AGM is 30/09/2012 as per section 210 (3) (b) of the Companies Act,1956.

ii) If AGM is convened as above, due date to give intimation of appointment to auditors falls on 07/10/2012 as per section 224(1) of the said act.

iii) Auditor in turn has to file form 23B through MCA 21 portal with in 30 days from the date of receipt of intimation.

iv) If filing is delayed additional filing fee along with normal filing fee prescribed by schedule X of the said act has to be paid.
