I redraft my queery once again.
Is there any provision in the Company's Act 1956 to file revised return of Allotment? If yes explain the provision.

You cannot revise the allotment. However you can submit addendum where address is mistakenly typed.

In response to this querry, i have got another reply- stating that it can be revised by filing another return of allotment giving reference of the previous return filed with ROC
I am confused, which is the correct law.

Why don’t you visit the concerned ROC office personally and have a chat with concerned person. You may also take help from some practicing CA/CS to figure out the right person for your purpose.
