Format of letter u/s 264 and clarify how to make the payment for the same
22 January 2011
Fee for revision is Rs. 250/- per application as per section 264(5) of the Income tax Act,1961. Instructions for using Challan and how to fill up is not specified. But, as per my understanding, since there seems to be no other way out, ITNS 28O can be used with major head 020 /021, minor head 300 and amount to be filled up in 'others' with a narration revision fee.
