If you've already passed all subjects in IPCC Group 2 (November 2016) and secured a total of 123 marks, you are not required to apply for revaluation — unless:
You missed an exemption narrowly (i.e., scored 58 or 59 in a paper), or
You’re very confident there was a marking error in a specific subject.
A few important points to consider: Revaluation is not permitted as per ICAI rules.
ICAI allows only verification of marks, not a full revaluation.
In verification of marks, ICAI will:
Check whether all answers were evaluated.
Verify the totaling of marks.
Ensure marks are carried forward correctly.
Chances of marks increase through verification are very low (less than 1–2% historically), but not zero.
Should You Apply? ✅ If you narrowly missed an exemption or aggregate, and feel confident of your performance → you may apply for verification.
❌ If you’re already cleared and not expecting any meaningful change, it may not be worth the effort or fee.
