is minor is eligible to file his incometax return when tds is deducted on his interest income and form 26AS shows the credit in his account.

Minor is not eligible to file income tax return because minor's income is also taxable in the hands of parents or guardian.
In case if such income of minor arises due to the personal skills of minor i.e the income earned based on the personal skills of minor like painting,drawing,singing,dancing,games etc.... then that income is taxable in the hands of minor then return has to be file in the name of minor but sign on the return should be make by guardian.

But Sir TDS is deducted on minor PAN No. and Form 26AS shows the credit in minor A/c not in guardian A/c.
By filling guardian return how the tax credit will be claimed.

Then file minor return under gurdainship i.e sing by the guardian and claim TDS.
