09 February 2015 Hello Sir,

I want to know if assesse's form 26AS i.e TDS deducted is showing less than what actually deducted what action should assessee take ?
if he claims TDS certificate from his employer He wont be able to give it to him.

so, what action should he take or
How he will file IT Return without form 16 or 16a

Plz Sir i want the answer urgently

09 February 2015 then it means those some of deductors have deducted but not deposited in time or have not at all deposited.

ask them to revise the tds return.

09 February 2015 Ask your deductor to remit the TDS amount back to you or demand him to provide creadit for TDS credit to your form 26AS and also collect TDS CERTIFICATES which is downloaded only from TRACES WEBSITE.

If he remits the TDS amount back to you declare total income and offer the credit available in 26AS and if any payable you need to pay via self assessment tax challan
