Retainership basis

Hi, i am a practicing chartered accountants, one of my client want me to join the company on day to day basis and look after the taxation and accounts matter and also internal auditing purposes. now my query is that is it possible for a practicing chartered accountants to work like that as i am doing my practice on freelance basis and looking for my own office in near future., please reply me as soon as possible, also if there is any format of retainer ship agreement for the same purpose, please forward it to me

As long as you are NOT on the payroll of the company (employer - employee relationship not established)and attending office as a consultant you can do so. there is also a leading case on this from where i am suggesting, unfortunatley i do not remember the case.
But it is always advisable to consult ICAI and get a written confirmation from them.
