While filling up e-forms, resolution no. is to be put in the end. What should that no. be - Item no. or Resolution no. Item no. and resolution no. could be different as some may only be discussions and not resolutions. Pls. advise
When e-forms ask for "Resolution Number", they expect the serial number of the actual resolution passed in the meeting — not the agenda item number.
Here's why:
An Agenda Item could be just a discussion or information sharing.
A Resolution is a formal decision passed and usually numbered sequentially in the meeting minutes.
So, you should enter the serial number of the resolution passed (e.g., Resolution No. 1, Resolution No. 2, etc.) — this corresponds to the order in which resolutions were passed during the meeting, not the agenda item number.
If no formal resolution number was given, it's best practice to assign one sequentially while preparing the minutes.
In short:
Use Resolution Number, not Agenda Item number.
If multiple resolutions were passed, use the respective resolution's number.
