Required to mention diector or secretary address??????

22 July 2015 As per the Companies act, 2013 we have to mention DIN No. of Director or Membership No. of Practicing professional, who sing any resolution or any other documenets, as the case may be.

But whether we also need to mention postal address of the person who sign the same ??

As per provisions of Section 158 of Companies Act, 2013, every Document giving any reference to Director shall indicate his DIN.

According to Rule 7.. para 6 of Chapter 24 (Registration Offices and Fees)of Companies Act, 2013 –it is mandatory to mention Name, designation, address and Director Identification Number with every documents which is required to be filed to the ROC.

Rule states that -
“Provided also that any correspondences (physically or electronically) and documents to be filed by any person shall contain name, designation, address, membership number or Director Identification Number, as the case may be, of the person signing such document and make sure correctness thereof and in no case, correspondence, merely with signature and writing authorised signatory shall be acceptable”

So, in order to avoid resubmission, request you to mention the address of the Director signing the BR or advice may we file the form without mentioning the address.
