12 August 2016 R/all, one of my relative received a notice from itd, asking details about cash deposit in bank Acc on f.y 2013-14. Amount of cash, deposit in bank was received against sale of agriculture land and loan from relatives on personal terms. please let me know, how to reply. with regards Anuj Verma

12 August 2016 you can tell the same thing in reply to Income Tax Department.

14 August 2016 there is a problem, assessee do not have documental proof of amount received by him and deposit to his bank Acc.

14 August 2016 This can NOT be regarded as EXCUSE. Find out the proofs, if not go ahead with AFFIDAVIT + whatever that will be asked by the Assessing Officer.
