Whether Firm Can Claim Deduction in respect to remuneration paid to HUF?????

20 September 2013 Remuneration is the compensation paid for the efforts put in by an "Individual". As an HUF is not an individual but a family of individuals, no remuneration can be paid to HUF even if it is a partner in the firm.
