Dear All..
An assessee in Kerala have service tax registration for its premises in kerala. Now it opened a branch in Tamil Nadu but billing and accounting are from Kerala office only. What is the procedure for converting kerala office`s registration into Centralised registration?

Pl visit www.aces.gov.in. Cilck 'REG'
Choose 'Amend ST-1' option. Make change in the column 'nature of registration' as centralized registration and e-file the form. Take a hard copy, sign it, enclose address proof of new premises and file before the jurisdictional superintendent and get the amended ST-2.
