31 May 2017 hi my client have two branches one in Hyderabad and other in Mumbai and I opted for individual registration , Mumbai branch has 12 lakhs turnover and Hyderabad branch doesn't have any business, is it necessary to get registration for Hyderabad branch.

31 May 2017 No business no need of registration.
At present government insists separate GST registration in each state, if a person operates his business. For example, if XYZ company has business transaction of goods or services in Maharashtra, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, he has to take registration of GST in all the three states
