23 August 2012 whether a partnership firm registered should be registered under companies Act?i am planning to start a textile shop business,and it is registered with registrar of firms.partnership consist of only 2 members.whether i should register it under companies Act?how can i register it?

No, it is not mandatory to register it with ROC, unless you wanted to incorporate to company for same business.

If you wanted to start business with company, then you can convert this firm into company.
