Regarding Short term capital loss

18 February 2009 Hii Sir,

I have a short term capital loss ( Shares & Securities ) around some 75000/- during this year ( 2008-09) and moreover i'm a salaried person. So what are the details to be submitted for IT Department for claiming this loss and STT has been deducted for transactions ans so could u help me out in this matter

19 February 2009 File the return in ITR-4 without any annexures. The said form itself contains columns to show the details of short term capital gains computation. If called for, furnish details of purchase,along with source,and sales of securities with documentary proof.
