27 March 2019 The comaany from which we deal they send us product via 3rd party but as per their company policy they issued us discount on turnover including Gst how to make enter this on tally

29 March 2019 If you are buying the product. We can understand by an example. Suppose we purchase a product of Rs. 100 and paid 12 Rs as GST on this. The first case can be that the company is allowing discount at the time of invoicing of Rs 10 so they need to deduct the same in the invoice. So the entry is as follows.
Purchase account Dr 90
ITC Dr. 10.8
To Party/Cash/Creditor 100.80
Let's take your instance. We bought the product of Rs.100 and paid 12 Rs GST on it. Now after a period the company issued a Credit note (i.e. Discount) of Rs. 10 and Levied 1.2 GST on it. For this we can pass following entry.
At the time of purchase
Purchase A/c Dr, 100
ITC of GST Dr. 12
To Party/Cash/Creditor
At the time of Credit note
Party/Cash/Creditor Dr 11.2
To purchase account 10
To ITC of GST 1.2
