27 February 2012 hi my name is kareena, i have a problem.
what is the difference in between trip and round trip?
the formula for total km= total distance covered one way* no of trips per day

but in calculating no .of trips in case of round trip, why is it multiplied by 2
plz help

27 February 2012 Round trip means to and fro. For example Destination A to B and back from B to A is a round trip.

So there are two trips in a round trip.
One from A to B,and
Second back from B to A.

Therefore the formula is multiplied by 2.
