30 August 2016 Hello everybody,

I am working as a partner in a CA Firm and want to join another CA a firm as an employee & received the salary from the Firm where i will join as an employee and no other compensation from any other firm.

Can I do so or there is any restriction for being a partner and employee in two different CA Firms ???

20 July 2025 No, you cannot.
As per ICAI guidelines, a Chartered Accountant cannot simultaneously be a partner in one firm and an employee in another.
