Regarding conveyance reimbursement to retainer

We are obtaining services from a professional by paying a retainer ship fees.
He is asking to reimburse his conveyance expenses separately kindly guide me can we do same.

10 April 2014 very much you can do so. rather almost every professional contracts/agreements provide for reimbursement of traveling expenses.

11 April 2014 Thanks, Mr. Nikhil Kaushik but he will not provide any supporting bill for conveyance expenses. He is asking to reduce his fee Rs.1500/- pm & pay Rs.1500/- as a conveyance reimbursement every month. Kindly guide is this correct to pay with out supporting bill.

11 April 2014 in such a case it wont amount to reimbursement...and would still be subject to TDS.
