08 April 2015 I had submitted belated return for the AY 2012-2013 on 31-03-2014 I.e on the last day to file belated return. I have a refund due for the said assement year but due to some circumstances I was not able to send ITR V within 120 days and it reached CPC on 122nd day from the day of filing return, so I thought that now i will not get any refund but when I logged in my income tax e filing account it showed that ITR processed and the refund is sent to refund banker... Even i have got no intimation u/s 143(1) and when i request for the same fron the website it says "No intimation found for the selected AY"
What does it mean will I get my refund or will it be rejected due to late receipt of ITR V

09 April 2015 If your e-filing account is showing ITR processed and refund sent it means that CPC has processed the ITR and there is no question of ITR rejection. You make check the status of your refund on NSDL website or in your bank account.

13 April 2015 I got an intimation u/s 143(1) and it shows the refund amount and has also got refund sequence number on it but still it has not been updated on NSDL website.So my question is

1) How much time does it take to update on the NSDL website after intimation u/s 143(1) is recd ?

2) Can the refund be credited to my bank account even if it has not been updated on NSDL ?

3) Can the ITR for which intimation has been received after due date be actually processed ?

13 April 2015 correction in my 3rd question instead of intimation it is ITR - V

So the updated question is

Can the ITR for which ITR-V is recd at CPC after 120 days be actually processed ??

14 April 2015 Normally it is updated on NSDL within a week or two. Even if it is not updated why you are bothered about it so much. You may check the refund in your bank account.

14 April 2015 Thanks... BTW I got message from CPC that the refund has been issued and it stated to check the status on NSDL after 3 days ... So normally in how many days it will be reaching in case it has been issued via cheque
