FATHER AND HIS SON HAVE A JOINT FDR IN BANK IN A/Y 2012-13.
BUT NOW FATHER HAS EXPIRED. THE BANK GIVE FORM 16A IN THA NAME OF ONLY FATHER(AS A FIRST HOLDER OF FDR).NOW THE SON WANT TO TAKE REFUND BY SUMMIT RETURN SO SON HAS OBTAINED HIS PAN.
BUT BANK REFUED TO REVISED TDS RETURN.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS OPTION AVAILABLE TO SON TO CLAIM REFUND.
IS 154 IS POSSIBLE AFTER FILING RETURN FOR CLAIMING REFUND WHICH IS NOT SHOWN IN 26AS

File the return in the name of the father only. The refund will be issued in the name of the father and should be deposited in the bank account of the father.
