25 February 2011 hi..I am in big confusion, i want to know that which is the best reference book for 'SELF STUDY' for MAFA CA FINAL New Course either 'SRIDHAR' or 'BALLA'

25 February 2011 both are equally good, apart from above two books (sridhar and bala) u can for one more book name principle / fundamentals of corporate finance by Brealy and Myers..(this brealy myers is one of the best book for concept and logical understanding)

25 February 2011 use shridhar only.
If u r from Mumbai then try and collect note books of Bhide classes from any of ur frnds if possible.It is much better then any other book. well organised.

other wise shridhar is the best.
for theory only refer 100 topics at the end of the book.
