06 August 2015 An assessee filed return under efiling for asst year 2014-15. in this return he wrongly typed designation of AO as II (4)/ erode instead of II(4)/salem and send the itr to cpc, bangalore by speed duly signed. But in itrv receipt status shown as itr v not received status. In return filed status it is shown as return filed. The return filed on 29/07/2014. what we have to do either to recticy or revised return to be filed. please inform

06 August 2015 Return cannot be revised on this account. Rectification is also not advised since I don't think there is any option available for filing rectification online for this reason. And ITR-V has not reached CPC till now hence it is showing not received. Keep patience it will update as and when the ITR-V is received by them.
