An assessee filed return under efiling for asst year 2014-15. in this return he wrongly typed designation of AO as II (4)/ erode instead of II(4)/salem and send the itr to cpc, bangalore by speed duly signed. But in itrv receipt status shown as itr v not received status. In return filed status it is shown as return filed. The return filed on 29/07/2014. what we have to do either to recticy or revised return to be filed. please inform

Return cannot be revised on this account. Rectification is also not advised since I don't think there is any option available for filing rectification online for this reason. And ITR-V has not reached CPC till now hence it is showing not received. Keep patience it will update as and when the ITR-V is received by them.
