Rectification of itr4s for ay 2011-12 ?? problem

20 October 2012 Hello everyone,

i had filed ITR-4S of my client on 01/07/2012.

now i got intimation from the dept requiring to pay rs.490/-.

i have already paid the tax amount and it is showing in 26AS. i have also checked the form ITR-4S and challan details are entered correctly.

i tried to file rectification request but aggregate income tax liability column is not provided for ITR-4S form.

what should i do ?

20 October 2012 It also Like ITR-4 so fill the details according to the ITR-4 guidelines to upload rectification. I tried it and got success. So fill the Column no 31 & 36 amounts of 143(1) intimation order for aggregate income tax liability and credit allowed options respectively.
