How does one calculate the effective date of becoming NRI? Would appreciate if could be elucidated with an example of 365 days in four years!

In case of going for employment and employment in ship it's 182 days criteria applicable for NRI.

Yes Sir but what happens if according to the above criteria one became NRI in October 2021 and the saving account is converted to NRO account now?
