Is it mandatory to have manual signature or seal or both, if you preparing computer generated receipts in your office for both cash and cheques received, Or can you consider the system printed receipt voucher as valid, since they are orginated by someone with his user ID and password.

We are using tally ERP9 automatic serial numbering, without manual interference. Both original and duplicate are printed in one A4 sheet. upper portion printed-original and lower duplicate. which will be signed and stamped. signing and stamped. Now can avoid signature and stamp.

Tally ERP9 being prone to easy alterations, it is better that manual/physical signature is taken. If the name of user login is being printed on the said receipts, then the manual/physical signatures may be dispensed with. Fixing the responsibility is important. Your views please.
