Could anyone please tell me the reasons for which a notice of intimation u/s 143(1)may be send by the depatment for salaried employees assumming there is no tax payable or any refund related issue?

Intimation u/s 143(1) is sent to each and every assessee who has filed his return of income. The intimation signifies that the return has been processed by the department.
