Dealer in West Bengal purchase goods from Rajasthan. Goods transported by a Rajasthan based unregistered transporter. Transporter gets paid in West Bengal by the purchasing dealer. Is RCM applicable? If yes, under IGST or CGST+SGST?

the person making any inter state supply......like the transporter in your case....... needs to take registration.

Inter State supply is restricted to URD. Then how to calculate RCM for IGST....
He want registration if he ll service to inter state....

As the transporter has permit to travel in other state, he can transfer goods from one state to other.

Also persons who are making supplies of goods or services where total tax is payable by recipient of goods or services are exempt from getting register in GST.

Inter state as Service provider is in Rajasthan & receiver is in West Bengal...
