15 April 2009 in case of water softner used in office premises e.g Kent water purifier....the rate of depn is 15 % as per I.T Act....and if you are referring to a water softner used in the water tratement system which turns hard water into soft water for water supply project for infrastructure facilities....then the rate of depn is 100 % as per I.T Act.
