Please tell the VAT RATE of tax for Scrap materials of any products and also for the Multi-stock items purchased and sales in Tamil Nadu. And also CST RATE.

1. VAT Rate on Scrap Materials in Tamil Nadu

2. VAT Rate on Multi-stock Items (Purchased and Sold in Tamil Nadu)
Multi-stock items usually fall under normal goods categories.
VAT on most manufactured or traded goods (including multi-stock items) is typically 4% or 5% in Tamil Nadu (depending on the item).
For general goods, Tamil Nadu VAT was often at 4%, with some essential items at 1% or zero-rated.

3. CST (Central Sales Tax) Rate
CST applies on interstate sales of goods.
The general CST rate applicable across India, including Tamil Nadu, is 2% when the buyer has a valid CST Form (Form C).
