Please tell the VAT RATE of tax for Scrap materials of any products and also for the Multi-stock items purchased and sales in Tamil Nadu. And also CST RATE.

1. VAT Rate on Scrap Materials in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, VAT on Scrap materials is generally 5% (but it may vary slightly depending on the specific type of scrap).
Some scrap materials might even be exempt or taxed at lower rates depending on government notifications.

2. VAT Rate on Multi-stock Items (Purchased and Sold in Tamil Nadu)
Multi-stock items usually fall under normal goods categories.
VAT on most manufactured or traded goods (including multi-stock items) is typically 4% or 5% in Tamil Nadu (depending on the item).
For general goods, Tamil Nadu VAT was often at 4%, with some essential items at 1% or zero-rated.

3. CST (Central Sales Tax) Rate
CST applies on interstate sales of goods.
