15 August 2014 1).The Tax Rate Of VAT APPLICABLE on Iron Chairs.
2). Incresed Rates On handicrafts of more than rs.1000 to 5%.from which date its applicable.

19 July 2025 1. VAT Rate on Iron Chairs in Rajasthan
Iron chairs are typically classified under Schedule IV of the Rajasthan VAT Act, which includes items taxed at 5% VAT. However, it's important to note that the VAT rate for such goods was increased from 5% to 5.5% with effect from 2nd February 2016 .

2. VAT Rate on Handicrafts Above ₹1,000 in Rajasthan
Handicrafts, including items like blue pottery and puppets, are generally taxed at 5% VAT in Rajasthan. This rate applies irrespective of the price of the item, including those priced above ₹1,000.
