in salary head if the the empoyee is retired on 28 feb
when we compute basic salary then the day of retirement i.e 28 feb k salary is pay or not...

ideally you should be including 28th feb also...

It has to be paid provided he is not absent and it is a case of LWP (Leave without pay). Retirement takes effect after the closing hours of the day, so without any question salary of 28th Feb has to considered.
