I would like to establish a partnership firm, the name which we would like to use is already used by someone else...
Is it possible to register my firm with same name??

You can't register your firm in a name already used by some one.

Firm name if you are registering in LLP Than definitely you can not use the name which is already registered under LLP or Trademarks.
If the firm is established in partnership act of 1932, there is no such restrictions not use the name already exists.
