could you plz tell how much amount can i save in my saving account which is not questionable by income tax department?for example around 10 lakh or 25 lakh or 50 lakh or 1 crore means how much i can save ?

27 April 2012 Query is raised regarding the sources and the application of the fund, so if you have explaination to the query that from where the funds have been received, then you can maintain as much balance as you want in your saving account.

Is there a limit on how much I can keep in my savings account? ❌ No limit. You can keep ₹10 lakh, ₹50 lakh, or even ₹1 crore.
Will it be questioned by the IT Department? ✅ Only if the source is unexplained or not matching your ITR.
What if source is legal and documented? 👍 No issue. Keep any amount.
Can small deposits also be questioned? ✅ Yes, if they appear suspicious or are not backed by declared income.
