We have paid S.tax for GTA in the month of March'2010., as the bills from transporter was recd. & paid in the month of March'10.
When can i take the credit of GTA against my output liability?
In March'10 itself or in the month of April'10.

After making payment of service tax on GTA and is generally in the next month i. e. April 2010 in your case.
