Can anyone please guide me what is Purchase tax?
On what all items it needs to be paid and at what rate?
If it is paid, can the set off be done.

If you purchase any material from URD (unregistered dealer), purchase tax is levied. Such purchase tax is eligible for set-off. There are certain products, the point of levy is last purchase, in some states. This is also called purchase tax.
