Sir,
What is the procedure of opening a PPF A/c and what is the minimum limit of depositing amount and it is compulsory to deposit every month fixed amount.

You can open in any nationalised or even private bank PPF A/c There is no compulsion for every month deposit but yes in a calender minimum 500 has to be deposited to keep the account active. The current limit in a year is 100,000. Which you can deposit in one go or multiple deposits.
