kindly let me knw which Act is applicable to "public charitable trust???

The Indian Trust Act, 1882 governs private or family trust but it excludes Wakfs and public or private charitable or religious endowments.

The charitable and Religious Trust Act, 1920 is only a Central Legislature which applies to all religious and charitable trusts but not provide any effective control over public charitabile and religious trust and endowments.

The Wakf Act, 1995 regulates muslim Wakfs for public benefit.

Sikh Gurudwara Act, 1925 governing Sikh Gurudwara trust.
