My client has paid arrears of revised wages. Kindly let me know whether EPF has to be deducted & Paid on this arrear payment also ?

11 July 2013 yes to be EPF pay

but if employees salalry basic cross Rs. 6500/- then you do one thing

employee PF amount Fix Rs. 780/-
