Provident fund

This query is : Resolved

18 October 2012 Hi, Myself Ankur Garg working in a manpower recruitment company and my query is that if an employee joins our company and his basic is above 6500, he was the PF member in last company and didn't withdraw his PF, is it mandatory for him to become a PF member in our company, if not then what documentation should be done by us for future reference.

18 October 2012 as per my view, there is no need to continue in PF. he can withdraw his PF but if he doesn't as per new rules after some time they will stop giving interest on that. there is no documentation only he is not covered in PF so u didn't deduct PF simple
