2)Can i Continue with same MVAT NO.

Dissolve the partnership.
Register the dissolution with Registrar of firms.
Make a mention of the same in the deed itself stating that so and so partner is taking over the business of the firm.
Intimate MVAT authorities of the closure of firm
Apply for the MVAT for the proprietorship.
Register the dissolution with Registrar of firms.
Make a mention of the same in the deed itself stating that so and so partner is taking over the business of the firm.

The choice is with MVAT department.
As per the codes used in the TIN, they will allott new number.
