Please let me know the Procedure of Surrendering the Service Tax Registration and what documents are required to submit for Surrendering the Service Tax Registration

First you have required to surrender on-line at your login ID, at the time of surrender you have required to mention reason for surrendering. Thereafter you have taken print of Surrender ST-2.
You have need to submitted the same along-with original ST-2 at your Service tax Range Superintendent office.
The officer can call from you bank statement, previous income tax return and service tax returns for verify that you have paid your or not all tax liability.
