07 June 2014 Dear Sir ,

Our Paper Trader providing Paper to the Offset Printer & Offset printer printing Books & supply to us with 5% Vat.

So may I deduct TDS while paying Bill amount & If Yes on Which amount TDS will be Deducted-Basic or Gross bill amount?

What is the % of TDS & under which section it will be deducted ?

07 June 2014 if the printer give you labour bill/printing charge bill then you have tot deduct the TDS u/s 194C @ 1 or 2% individual/huf or company /firm if payment of single Rs. 30000/- or Rs.75000/-. if he give you only material bill then no need to deduct the tds.

07 June 2014 yes if he give you bill of labour exp. if he give material bill then no tds will be applicable.
