Post office fixed deposit query

04 July 2013 Post Office FD of 5 years is eligible for 80C deduction. I want to know, whether the interest on such FD is tax free or not. I think it is exempted u/s 10(15), but not sure. Kindly clarify the taxability of interest on such FDs.
