09 February 2014 Hello, I'm appearing for ipcc may 2014 attempt and im planning to do my articleship from Singapore.. can you'll please tell me if it'll be prudent or not for me to do it there? also should I go directly after my exams or taking a years work exp from India and then going there would be better ?

09 February 2014 1. first of all you need to ensure that there is a CA who can offer you articleship in Singapore.

2. If that is taken care of then definitely go right after clearing the IPCC exams. no point in spending a year working here..

09 February 2014 Any specific reasons for doing articleship in Singapore?

No idea about Articleship in Singapore but in my view its better to do it in India. But if you get good exposure in Singapore then you can do it there also.

09 February 2014 it will be better first u take exp here then u go there as something u will have in ur hand as exp b4 reaching there and it will help u to understand work more easily
