22 October 2010 can a board meeting be held at any other place than its registered office for e.g. at its corporate office.
what abt general meeting. is it compulsary to hold gm at regd ofc only.

22 October 2010 100% a board meeting can be held at other place other than its registered office. you can hold BM at the corporate office.

Board meeting of company incorporated under Companies Act, can be held at any place in India or out of India. There is no restriction for holding Board Meeting outside the registered office. You can hold Board Meeting at Corporate office.
In case of general meeting, it shall be held either at the registered office of the company or at some other place within the city, town or village in which the registered office of the company is situated during business hour and on a day that is not a public holiday.
