please solve my doubt
my Brother has joined recently as a salaried employee
he has taken personal accident insurance
means money will be received onkly on accident or death
means it is not like Life insurace
so
can he claim DEDUCTION for PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Hi Brij,
As per your information the may not be a life insurance but the nature is very similar to LIC. So you may claim deduction u/s 80C. Kindly check with the documentation. If there be any tax benefit on such payment it should have been categorically been mentioned on the face of the document.
